Over the past three years, upgrades and repairs have been made to more than 1,700 apartments in 16 affordable housing developments in Manhattan.
With the recent completion of this renovation work, the vision of the New York City Housing Authority’s Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program has been fully realized.
Improvements include new bathrooms, kitchens and flooring in apartments as well as replacements of heating systems and full elevator rehabs, improving quality of life for more than 2,900 low-income residents.
CDT was one of six partners in the PACT Renaissance Collaborative, which also included Community Preservation Corp. (CPC), Monadnock Development LLC, Lemor Development Group, Kalel Holdings LLC, and the Community League of the Heights (CLOTH).
We are proud to have helped created such positive community impact by helping to improve these important affordable housing developments and preserve them for future generations.
