Merilyn Rovira is Senior Vice President – Capital Initiatives. Ms. Rovira was a founding officer of CDT. She left to become a Director in the Housing and Community Development Group at Fannie Mae, leading community development initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic, as well as national account management of multifamily lenders.
Prior to CDT, Ms. Rovira was a Senior Vice President at the Local Initiatives Managed Assets Corporation, a predecessor organization to CDT and a Senior Mortgage Officer at NYC’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Ms. Rovira has more than 25 years experience in real estate including lending, secondary markets, community development, workouts and asset management. Ms. Rovira Chairs the Boards for both Restored Homes, LLC, and the Princeton Family YMCA. Ms. Rovira is also on the Board for the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL). Ms. Rovira has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
