CDT Management Team Member Merilyn Rovira

Merilyn Rovira is Senior Vice President, Capital/Strategic Initiatives. Ms. Rovira was a founding officer of CDT. She left to become a Director in the Housing and Community Development Group at Fannie Mae, leading community development initiatives in NY, NJ and the Mid-Atlantic, as well as national account management for multifamily lenders.

Prior to CDT, Ms. Rovira was a Senior Vice President at the Local Initiatives Managed Assets Corporation, a predecessor organization to CDT and a Senior Mortgage Officer at NYC’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Ms. Rovira has more than 35 year’s experience in real estate including investor relations, lending, secondary markets, community development,  and workouts. Ms. Rovira is the Chairman of the Board for the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL), a board member for the Center for New York City Neighborhoods, and formerly the Board Chairman for  Restored Homes, LLC, and the Princeton Family YMCA. Ms. Rovira has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
