Highlights
Raven Crest Apartments is located on the southwestern edge of Casper, Wyoming and consists of 100 units spread across 4 three-story buildings each containing between 24 and 28 units.
The apartments include 24 one-bedroom units, 25 two-bedroom units, 26 three-bedroom units, and 24 four-bedroom units. There is one unit reserved for the property manager.
All one-, two-, and three-bedroom units are priced for 45% area median income (“AMI”) but are restricted to households at up to 50% AMI and all four-bedroom units are priced for 50% AMI but can accept households at up to 55% AMI.
Raven Crest also features a community building, which is fully furnished and includes a multi-purpose clubhouse room with a kitchen, a laundry facility, exercise room, leasing management office and computer room equipped with high-speed Internet service.
Outdoor amenities include a playground and a covered picnic area.
Impact
CDT’s investment has helped the Casper Housing Authority to address the shortage of safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for low-income households in the Casper Community. (As an example, the property’s four-bedroom apartments may be the only affordable units of that size available in the community.)
Additionally, the community building provides amenities that can help residents seek work and engage in other activities that require high-speed internet service.
